IT IS IMPORTANT FOR US IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY TO follow up after being asked a question or have a request made of us; say thank you whether in person, a phone call, an email or a note for a monetary or other type of gift received; even reciprocate at times, though not expected by the giver, in one way or another to show appreciation for an above and beyond kindness bestowed upon us.

IT IS IMPORTANT not only because it is the polite thing to do but because it is part of the overall service experience for the “customer” as well.
