Bruce’s TIP OF THE WEEK #106
Layout: storing towels in end lockers

I MENTIONED in TIP OF THE WEEK #2, “Rather than having to walk to the shower area to get a towel, it would be more convenient and easier if the towels were located close to the lockers.” However, not every locker room has custom-built towel storage units at the end of each row of lockers. A solution, if there are enough empty lockers in each row, is storing towels in end lockers as shown in the picture below. In this example, the door was removed. Its functionality outweighs whether fancy looking or not.

Add a full length mirror with a grooming station shelf on one end panel and add clothes hooks on the next; then alternate.

Add a hook on empty space by each cove to hang a shoe horn.
