THE LESS ON THE COUNTER the better is my advice for a neat appearance, ease of cleaning and keeping the amenities dry.
TO ACCOMPLISH THIS it is necessary to have an amenity shelf or two the length of the counter; and adjustable shelfs, whether recessed or not, between any individual mirrors. Shelfs in or on the sidewalls also help as does extending the counter length shelf to the left and right sides. Under counter mounted sinks reduce puddling of water. Drop holes for cloth and trash are convenient. Wall mounted direct wire blow dryers (with retractable cords in the handles) and mounted Klennex holders also help in having uncluttered sink counters.
