Bruce’s TIP OF THE WEEK #13 of 156 |
TAKING A SHOWER at the club should be an experience that is looked forward to. It is determined by the brand and type of showerhead, water volume, water pressure, inlet pipe diameter (1/2 inch or 3/4 inch) and whether or not the water limiter inside the head is removed. Showerheads are made with a maximum volume of 2.5 gallons per minute or less, depending upon the flow rate of the limiter. Removing it and any filter screen, which gets clogged, can increase the flow rate to 4 to 5 gpm, depending once again on the water volume and pressure. |
